 Quiet Title Actions

At Law Office of David J. Hollander, we have helped many clients through the complexities of a quiet title lawsuit.  We have experience in these cases and work diligently to protect your interests.  Whether you need representation as a landowner filing a quiet title action or you are a person with an ownership interest, we will fully analyze your situation and do everything we can to obtain a positive result for you.

A quiet title lawsuit is filed when a property owner seeks to verify ownership of real property when there may be other persons or parties claiming ownership.  These lawsuits can be filed by a landowner if there is a possibility of other ownership claims or in response to a claim from another party.  In many cases, there are title defects or errors that can create questions regarding a specific property and who has the right to ownership.  In other cases, there may be two or more people living together who are on the deed to the land but only one of them is on the loan.  Sometimes the parties have made various verbal or written agreements about who should own or control the property.  If the parties split up or if a person dies, there could be a dispute over who actually owns the land. Quiet title actions can determine the issues and award the property to the rightful owner.

Quiet title matters are typically complicated and contentious disputes.  When you hire Law Office of David J. Hollander, we will thoroughly analyze all of the deeds of trust, any written agreements, California law, and develop the best possible legal arguments to support your position.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss any real property ownership disputes that you may have and whether a quiet title action is right for your situation.  Please contact Law Office of David J. Hollander at (619)291-9652.
